Childhood
I was born to Mr. Mohan Rawal and Mrs. Asha Rawal on Sep’12 in Kavresthali (Rawaltar). I have a brother Maheswor Rawal . When I was a kid I was very good in studies but slowly my grades were just average as I went to higher classes. I passed my SLC from Padma Charka Boarding School . For Plus 2, I joined Siddhartha Vanasthali and completed my bachelors from Dillibazar Kanya Multiple College. I am told that I was a shy, polite and an understanding child. My parents used to tell that me I was obedient and a little mature for my age. I don’t remember much about my childhood days but I fondly do a particular one – my parents used to smoke. So, one day, I took a cigarette and went to the roof of my house and smoked. I did not realize but apparently, I fell asleep. My mom looked for me everywhere and finally found me with the cigarette. They realized and soon gave up the habit of smoking, which is really good and memorable for me

Entry Into The Musical World
I loved to sing when I was very small and used to tell others that I wanted to be a singer one day. I do not know from where or when my interest in music developed but I soon began writing lyrics of my own and started giving melodies to the words I had written. One day my father found some papers on which I had written down the lyrics on love. He was angry and asked me to concentrate more on my studies rather than wasting time on these useless things. While I was in the 8th standard, I composed a song but did nothing about it further. I was too shy. By the end of the year 2058 BS, I joined Doremi with the help of my brother. My father wanted us to concentrate only on studies So, at the beginning it was hard for me . After I was selected for a scholarship at Rastriya Nachghar, my mom convinced my father that I did have some talent and that they ought to support and encourage their daughter in whatever she chooses to do.

I started participating at different programs, which further motivated me to carry on. Those who heard my voice said “you’ve a distinct nice vocal tone which you need to work on”. I was elated felt that I could do better. Fortunately, after a particular competition, I got a chance to record a song followed by my exposure to a recording studio and other technicalities. With time, I decided to work on an album of my own. Famous musician Nhyoo Bajracharya heard my song with my own lyrics and composition and felt that I should continue which he told me personally. My friends too were impressed when I made them listen to some of my songs which motivated me further. It took quite a while to complete my album as I was still a novice… unknown about the technical details. But my teacher Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal and friends helped me a lot & finally my album hit the stands.

After hearing my song “Chahana Sakiyo” at Anil Staphit dai’s office, the famous singer Yash Kumar dai offered me to sing with him in his album. I have also sung on other albums, remixes and jingles. In the meantime, I finished my junior diploma from ‘Kala Nidhi Indira Sangeet Maha Vidhalaya’ and received a gold medal for it. It is just the beginning, let’s see what life has in store for me.

Me/Myself
I describe myself as a girl with a clear heart and little shy. I am not very talkative but a fun loving person nonetheless. I like to express each and every thing clearly but this habit has put me into awkward situations quite often. I hate those that back bite and would prefer them saying things up front sio that I can correct myself. I don’t give much importance to people who don’t care about my words and me. The thing that I don’t like about myself is not being practical at times. I do make mistakes but do not intend to hurt others in whatever way.

Love & Marriage
Love in my view means feelings which makes life meaningful. Love provides the motivation without which life becomes depressing. Love can be for family, friends or for any person. I am still looking for somebody who can understand me, care for me and somebody who is good at heart. I lay more emphasis to the habits and nature of a person rather than his outer appearance. Marriage, meanwhile is natural. If couples are in love, understanding and respect for each other, there is nothing like it. It doesn’t matter whether the marriage is love or an arranged one. In the musical field, for ladies its really hard so I want to marry a person who is supportive and constantly motivate me, loves and understands me.
